5 Places to get CPR Certified in the Lehigh Valley

The summer months are the most common time of year for people to wonder where they can get CPR certified, due to the number of children who are out of school and in the pools!  Lifeguards are in position to act quickly if an emergency arises, but wouldn’t you feel more comfortable if you knew how to give CPR to you own child?

The Lehigh Valley Health Network provides AHA approved CPR training through its Emergency Medicine Institute (EMI).  Call 610-402-CARE for information about becoming certified.

Breath of Life CPR is a local family run business serving the Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton areas in the Lehigh Valley.  Breath of Life CPR offers great rates for your company or organization to learn CPR as well as AED.

The American Red Cross offers classes for adults and children to become CPR certified as well as other life saving techniques like AED (automated external defibrillator).  Learning to recognize the symptoms of a heart attack and what to do next is one example of the things you can learn by becoming CPR certified with the American Red Cross.

As people’s lives become increasingly busy and hectic, CPR certification on line can be a great alternative to attending a formal class.  American Health Care Academy offers nationally accepted certification in CPR and AED.

Our CPR/AED course includes videos that allow you to practice at home while comprehending the course material. Topics covered include: responding to an unconscious adult, child and infant, choking techniques and the recovery position.

St. Luke’s Hospital & Health Network, located in Bethlehem, offers classes to become certified in CPR.  The next upcoming class will be held on Thursday, August 5 from 8:30am – 2:30pm at the Priscilla Payne Hurd Education Center in Bethlehem. 

Becoming certified to give CPR can be one of the best things you can do for your child in case of an emergency, especially at this time of year!
